Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests connect to WiFi, complete the CaptiveWiFi portal, and their Leat loyalty card is automatically available to add to Apple Wallet or Google Pay - directly from the portal page. No separate Leat app download required.
How does the live points display work?
After completing the WiFi portal, guests land on the CaptiveWiFi connected page. For Leat members, this page shows their live points balance and loyalty tier - pulled in real time from Leat. It is a live, personalised loyalty moment delivered automatically at the point of connection.
What does the live guest dashboard show?
The live guest dashboard shows every guest currently connected to your WiFi alongside their Leat loyalty data - tier, points balance, visit count and active offers. It updates in real time as guests connect and leave. Your floor team has the full loyalty picture before the guest reaches the table.
Is this GDPR compliant?
Yes. CaptiveWiFi only enrols guests in Leat where the guest has explicitly opted in at the WiFi portal. Every record includes a consent timestamp, the exact consent wording displayed, and IP address. A full DPIA is available on request.
